The Old Town Square is a place you are probably going to visit when in Prague. Why not add a restaurant visit to your programme? You might want to try this Italian place with a pleasantly rustic interior in earth tones, and a good selection of mediterranean plates.

The menu of the Oliva verde is classic and you will find here all the favorites: Bruschette, carpaccio and a selection of cheeses are the popular starters, you can also have top quality sandwiches on their homemade foccaccia bread. There is an impressively long list of salads, classic pizza with the right Italian cheeses and more risotti than you usually find. Fish are plentiful and if you want to really treat yourself, have a saltimbocca or a saddle of veal. Hopefully, you will manage to find some space for their lavender panna cotta!

When your taste buds are happy, go and see the recently renovated astronomical clock, the “Orloj”. Seeing antique figures move and hearing the famous sound (on the hour) will make your day.
